Small Dry Pumps

nXDS improves on the previous XDS 5 and 10 pumps by offering increased range of pumping speeds, combined with lower ultimate pressures, lower power consumption and lower noise. The nXDS pumps use an innovative bearing shield to isolate the vacuum environment from all forms of lubricant not only making them totally dry, but also protecting the bearing from any process gases.  Gas ballast allows for pumping of condensable vapours including, water, solvents, dilute acids and bases. nXDS pumps also feature the latest in tip seal technology giving significantly longer life between tip seal changes. Integrated smart drive with auto sensing voltage input delivers optimized pumping performance globally. nXDS pumps are designed to be field serviceable.

Edwards is delighted to introduce the new air cooled nXLi dry pump range, designed to deliver a consistent performance worldwide with complete user flexibility in mind. This new single phase pump is available in two options: nXL110i and nXL200i. Both are optimised for LCMS and ICPMS duties and are capable of handling gas loads of up to 25 slm. nXLi can also be used on chambers up to 100 litres, at continuous inlet pressures up to 15 mbar with occasional pump down.

Edwards has revolutionised the vacuum pump market with the new nXRi high performance, compact dry pump. It delivers unrivalled pumping speeds in the most compact package, with pumping speeds of 30 to 120 m3h-1. The nXRi's lower input power and zero maintenance create real performance improvements and cost benefits across a range of applications.

Scroll pumps are an excellent alternative to rotary vane pumps where oil free pumping is desirable. The XDS pumps use an innovative bearing shield to isolate the vacuum environment from all forms of lubricant not only making them totally dry, but also protecting the bearing from any process gases. Vapour handling is enabled by an adjustable gas ballast; this allows the range of pumps to satisfy many applications that were previously off limits to other scroll pumps. The Enhanced versions combining the XDS scroll form technology and by pass valve design, extend the operating envelope of these pumps.

The Edwards range of XDD1 diaphragm pumps offer clean pumping in a lightweight and compact design making them ideal for clean laboratory applications. Pumps can operate independently or as part of a modular system and require minimal maintenance. The XDD1 is well suited to backing our nEXT turbo pumps and has pumping speed up to 1.8 m³/hr

The Edwards range of D-Lab diaphragm pumps offer clean pumping in a lightweight and compact design making them ideal for many laboratory applications. Pumps can operate independently and require minimal maintenance. The D-Lab pumps are single and double head pumps with pumping speeds up to 2 m³/hr.

Edwards acoustic enclosures are the ideal noise reduction solution for use in a laboratory or an industrial environment. The specially designed soundproof enclosures are made of materials with high noise absorption, reducing vacuum pump noise by up to 9 dB(A), with no impact on vacuum pump efficiency.
